Jesse Patterson - Chief Strategy Officer of Keep Tahoe Blue
Jesse Patterson helps develop and implement strategies to protect and restore Lake Tahoe. He designs and manages campaigns to Keep Tahoe Blue through advocacy, education, collaboration and communication. The common link for all of Jesse’s work has been the application of science in policy, decision making and community-wide change for the betterment of the environment and people. When not working, Jesse enjoys surfing, SCUBA diving, hiking, mountain biking and skiing. Tahoe has been a lifelong destination of Jesse’s for summer backpacking and snowshoeing in the winter.
Tom Fortune - VP and GM at Heavenly Mountain Resort
Tom Fortune is the Vice President and General Manager at Heavenly Mountain Resort. Tom’s parents always asked him when he would get a “real job.” Now the life-long skier is managing Tahoe's largest ski resort. Recently the four largest ski industry leaders, Alterra Mountain Company, Boyne Resorts, POWDR and Vail Resorts (including Heavenly) announced the Climate Collaborative Charter, the ski industry’s first unified effort to combat climate change with shared commitments around sustainability and advocacy.
Corinna Osborne - GM at Edgewood Tahoe Resort
Corinna Osborne is the General Manager at Edgewood Resort in Tahoe Tahoe. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Corinna has a consistent record of increasing revenue, enhancing profitability, and gaining market share and has achieved aggressive revenue goals through an optimal combination of business acumen; implementing highly effective sales and marketing strategies; and hiring, training and mentoring high-performing teams. Carinna is also an active member of the Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber CEO roundtable, and Leadership Lake Tahoe, as well as various community outreach events.
Brooke Danielson - Brand Consultant
As a seasoned Fashion Editor, stylist, social media strategist and on-air personality, Brooke Danielson has held editorial positions at Shape, Glamour and Vogue.com, as well as contributed to Instyle.com. Brooke has also consulted for several brands including Aztech Mountain, M.Gemi, Tory Burch and MPG Sport, styling their Fall 2017 collection for New York Fashion Week. Brooke has also made several on-air appearances on the TODAY show, Fox5 among other media outlets while in her role as the Fashion & Lifestyle Director at Shape magazine. Brooke is also a plant-based endurance athlete who, has run nine marathons and is an avid skier.
Rob Koenen - CMO Boxed Water Is Better
Rob Koenen is the Chief Revenue Officer of Boxed Water Is Better; the first national company to offer a sustainable alternative to plastic water bottles. Rob is charged with expanding Boxed Water’s core message and empowering consumers to make a statement that “sustainability matters.” Rob’s extensive marketing and leadership experience is rooted in story-telling with innovative campaigns that span multiple communication channels. In his role at Boxed Water, Rob leads the brand’s trial and awareness efforts, digital opportunities, and retail experiences. In prior leadership roles, Rob has built true lifestyle brands for companies in food, apparel and footwear.
Vanessa Rivers - Co-Founder We Are Travel Girls
Vanessa Rivers is a California surfer girl, writer, entrepreneur, and an eco advocate. Her passion for travel and sustainability led her to create an eco line Summerlove Swimwear (as seen in Sports Illustrated, Forbes, Daily Mail), a private surf lesson company SurfwithVanessa.com and her travel blog GlitterandMud.com (as seen in Forbes). She is Co-Founder of the popular travel community We Are Travels Girls (as seen on Forbes, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Oprah Magazine) and has worked with top brands such as Google, Pepsi Group and Four Seasons Hotels. Vanessa lives in Malibu with her husband and daughter, has a cabin in Carnelian Bay, Lake Tahoe and is an avid snowboarder.
